Random thoughts kinda says it all. Hopefully you'll find my posts informative, or at least entertaining.

A recent ruling by the Supreme Court of California granted police officers the right to search a suspect's cell phone without a warrant.  Think about it.  A person is protesting, they get arrested, and the police have the right to go through their phone, look at everyone they've been in contact with, read their emails, look at pictures, browser history... everything.  Without a warrant?!    Why?  What if you get picked up for drunk and disorderly?  Why should that give the police the right to search your phone?  The Constitution says no "unreasonable" search.  How is searching the cell phone of a guy you picked up for being drunk reasonable?
Do you think the court got this right or wrong?  Comment below.

Shaunna O'Connell declared winner of election for Third Bristol House District after recount

Dear Friends, I want to tell you about Shaunna O’Connell. She is my newly elected State Representative. With hard work and the help of many dedicated supporters, Shaunna defeated a 16-year entrenched incumbent. Now she is fighting to hold onto this victory. Just as he operated on Beacon Hill, her opponent is using his position to intimidate people in an effort to change the results of this election. On November 20th the recount began, and Shaunna had a very comfortable 44 vote lead. In a surprise turn of events, 18 votes went missing in one precinct. All 18 votes were hers, which is very suspicious, but she still holds the lead with a margin of 32 votes. Fortunately, Shaunna has very good legal representation to fight back. But the recount process is continuing on longer than expected. Her opponent is intent on bankrupting her.  Even if you don't live in Taunton, this is important!   We cannot allow him to steal this election. I am personally asking you to join me in supporting Shaunna by sending her a small contribution of $20, $50, or even $100. ...

James Fagan and the DemocRats are doing everything they can to steal this election away from Shaunna O'Connell.  Votes have mysteriously disappeared, all Shaunna's.  Abscentee ballots have appeared out of thin air, for Fagan, then found to be for people who already voted for him in person.  We can't let them get away with this.  Even if you don't live in Taunton, this affects all Massachusetts residents who are fed up with the corruption in this state.  The is the worst kind of politics (you know, the Massachusetts kind), and we can't the the bastards win!  Share this story with you friends.

They got it WRONG! That definitely is going too far.
Re: O'Connell Fagan recount. The battle rages on!
Do you wonder what Fagan is doing with his spare time?

I hope this next recount is the last recount, and the last we ever hear the name Fagan.
Re: O'Connell Fagan recount. The battle rages on!
Fagan is such a rat. This is a guy that defends child rapists and fought against Jessica's law. Listen to this rant. Do we really ever want this guy back in office? www.youtube.com/watch?v=aq-NJ1YQu8M
